Republic FC is coming off a 2-0 home loss to LA Galaxy II this past Sunday at Heart Health Park. Despite the setback, however, the Indomitable Club still sits a point out of the fourth in the Pacific
Division, one of four clubs separated by a point. Saturday will be Republic FC’s second of three games in nine days. SRFC logged 18 shots against Los Dos on Sunday and have now recorded 10+ shots in eight of their last nine contests. Andrew Wheeler-Omiunu made his first start since the club’s last meeting with Galaxy II on September 1, completing 86% of his passes and winning 83% of his defensive duels on Sunday. This season has seen 105 selections for SRFC Academy players, including at least one selection in every match and 34 starts.
